Welcome to the School of Medicine
Within the School of Medicine are many exciting ongoing research projects conducted by research groups and individual researchers focussing on new developments.
The School of Medicine consists of twenty-eight academic departments and seven academic divisions with research forming an integral part of our activities. Quality and impact are highly valued and identified research focus areas are of an International standard.
The School has several collaborative endeavours that include industrial partnerships, as well as National and International collaborations. Postgraduate students are being trained on a continues basis in a research environment. They are also being exposed to other disciplines and collaborate with departments/faculties, as well as institutions at a National and International. The students contribute to their field of study to ensure competency.
